Phred's Hardware and Software Configuration
Phred.org current consists of two machines, one running FreeBSD
(phred.org) and one running Windows NT (catfood.phred.org). The
picture above was taken with the primary phred.org partially
disassembled, and while catfood.phred.org was installing Windows
2000 RC1. There is a third machine shown as well (the one that
phred.org is sitting on) which is used as a NAT/Proxy server for
other computers in the house.
Each of the computers has its own keyboards, but there is only
one monitor for the three machines. I manually switch it between
machines when necessary. I generally don't need to do this very
often, as all three machines can be administrated remotely.
